This weeks spotlight goes to the long time Industrial Lock and Security. This shop has been a part of El Segundo since 1977. The reason it is called “Industrial Lock and Security” is actually pretty interesting. When the original owner sold South Bay Industrial Hardware on Grand Ave, the owner’s son removed the locksmith section and opened his own store here on Main Street donning the “Industrial” name.

Elyse Beardsley has been the proud owner of Industrial Lock and Security since 1984. Not only has she been a great business owner, but she is super involved in the community and constantly gives back. Elyse has been Rotary President twice and is currently the President of the El Segundo Chamber of Commerce!
Some of Industrial Lock and Security’s past and current clients are: SpaceX, Netflix, Amazon, the new NFL Sofi Office buildings, and the company actually re-keyed the entire Queen Mary!
When you need a locksmith, you know where to go:) The whole staff at Industrial Lock and Security is always so warm and friendly. If you ever need anything, don’t hesitate to stop by and talk to them!

Also a little El Segundo secret, but right outside of their doors is a coupon that may come in handy sometime 😉

This weeks spotlight goes to the brand new “Dipped Ice Cream” shop in town! Jamie and Ron are longtime South Bay residents of El Porto and are so excited to share their love of ice cream with our beautiful little community. This chocolate dipped ice cream is a must try and they are currently doing a soft open while remodeling and our offering a limited amount of flavors!
Let us welcome them to El Segundo with open arms! These lovely people also give jobs to our very own high school students :) Located at the old Tyler Surfboard shop, 118 W Grand ave!
