Eldon Parents as Teachers

Cool off tomorrow 9-10:30 am for Parents as Teachers play group at the storm shelter!

Last week Bobbi Jo and I got to meet and listen to an amazing author. His name is David Harrison. If you get a chance grab one of his many books and read to your kids. It is so important that you read to your kids everyday.

Children whose parents read to them five books a day hear up to 1.4 million more words before entering kindergarten than children who are never read to. Even kids read just one book a day hear roughly 296,000 more words by age five than those with no regular reading.
