One major thing I have accepted this past couple of years is that a huge part of healing is to be honest and straightforward directly with people in your life by setting boundaries. You can avoid many offenses that are waiting to devour you and make a fool out of you. One way offense comes and very commonly is by not being honest with yourself and with others by setting boundaries. It’s one of those things that if you do not do it, it is designed to tempt you to get so angry and start gossiping and tearing people down out of frustration and lack of control and start other unhealthy cycles.

In this quiet time I have taken to pursue inner healing and freedom from unhealthy cycles, I have learned that some people just don’t know what your boundaries are until you let them know (even if you think it’s common sense). It takes away room to want to complain to everyone who is willing to hear and it robs you of the beauty that God is doing all around you. Thats just my my personal experience from anger and frustration that came from not being completely honest.

It’s such a huge part of healing that I am growing to embrace 💜👑

Set boundaries. Nobody has to like it but it has to be done.
