Elizabeth Police Department Colorado

Today, nearly 100 pounds of unused prescription medications were safely collected by the Elizabeth Police Department during the DEA National Drug Take Back event.

All medications were transported to the DEA Field Office for proper and safe destruction.

As a reminder, EPD provides a free year-round medication disposal program. Community members can drop off unused or expired medications Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at the Elizabeth Police Department, located at 425 S. Main Street.

No appointment is necessary; simply place unwanted medications in the secure disposal receptacle located inside the department.
