It’s an illusion imploder.

When someone or something you love and value so much is gone...

Grief reveals instantaneously what you care about.

The act of grieving is a quiet rebellion.

It’s self-care at the highest level.

It’s making you and your health a priority.

And not paying attention to arbitrary deadlines that don't matter and aren't real.

When you open yourself up to grief and allow it to inform your choices, it will take you to places your rational brain could never conceive.

Let’s normalize not pathologizing grief.

If grief is present, so is adversity.

And even though the world keeps spinning, yours has slowed down.

Maybe to a complete stop.

You have to actively carve out time and room for this experience.

Because no institution or person can or will do it for you.

We’ve accepted so much as “it is what it is,” and I get that.

But it doesn't mean you have to surrender to the faulty systems and institutions at the expense of yourself.

I support my clients in feeling their grief and beginning to heal.

I help them figure out the best way to alchemize their pain and use it as fuel to move forward.

And I do so without judging their choices or emotions.

All that would do is put another block to work through on the way to clarity.
