Our Story
The Basket Brigade of Linden New Jersey is a volunteer organization that delivers food to families in need, in time for Thanksgiving. To Bring Hope, Inspiration and Love to families in difficult situations. Our hope is that those touched by this kindness may someday extend such kindness onto others.
It takes only one light to dispel the darkness, and even just one basket or a few, to bring hope! The Basket Brigade takes place when one individual prepares one basket to personally deliver to a needy family or individual. This is a group volunteer organization that anonymously delivers Thanksgiving food and ingredients to families going through trying times. Families are selected through local social services and churches in the area.
