San Diego County is auctioning 686 tax-defaulted properties online from March 13–18, with registration open until March 3. The parcels, delinquent on taxes for at least five years, include 70 improved properties, 66 vacant lots, and 550 timeshares.

Bidders must submit a $1,000 refundable deposit plus a $35 processing fee (some properties may require more). Property owners can stop a sale by paying all outstanding taxes and fees by 5 p.m. on March 12. Nearby Riverside County is also auctioning nearly 1,000 properties this year, with starting bids as low as $100.
