Yesterday, we joined faith leaders and partners for a powerful Prayer Vigil, Rally and Procession to lift a collective call for public policies rooted in compassion, dignity and care—not harm or family separation.
Since then, this legislation has moved forward, but our shared commitment remains unchanged.
Grounded in our faith values to welcome the stranger, love our neighbors, feed the hungry and care for those in need, we continue to affirm a vision where resources support access to food, housing and health care, and uphold the dignity of ALL people.

On May 25, Pope Leo XIV shared a powerful reflection on the importance of safeguarding the dignity of all people. During , we’re reminded that how we treat others reflects who we are:
“A litmus test for social justice today is the treatment of migrants, refugees and those forced to move due to poverty, violence, climate change and environmental disasters. The way a society treats them reveals whether its sense of justice is driven by fear or by the spirit of fraternity."
Let’s choose dignity and welcome—for ALL people.

📷 by : Last week faith leaders and advocates came together to march in D.C. to show Congress that we want to fund care, not ICE.
Congress has slashed over a trillion dollars in funding to Medicaid, SNAP and the ACA — putting at risk access to healthcare, food, and basic stability for millions of working families, children, and seniors across the country.
Now Congressional Republicans are trying to use the reconciliation process to hand ICE, CBP, and other agencies $140 billion over ten years for immigration enforcement, and that’s on top of the billions they already received.
We’re coming together, along with faith leaders like mundekep to come out and advocate for our communities.
