What a Great way to start the season at Elko Speedway! Julie and Jimmie both picking up Feature Wins

We got got our season started with some traveling to Wisconsin. Friday Night at Tomah Jimmie was .8 of a second faster this time than last year. Qualified 3rd. Passing for the lead in the heat and got into some floor dry from the previous race and ended up 3rd. Got spun out in the feature with no caution and made up about 3/4 of a lap to catch back to the lead pack. Overall solid night.
Saturday Afternoon At Lacrosse Speedway Jimmie set Fast time in Qualifying and Julie was 3rd. Julie won the Heat race and 4th in the feature. Jimmie had a rough day ended up 4th in the heat and 5th in the feature.
Looking forward to getting back to our Happy Place! Elko Speedway season starts this Saturday 5/27. Racing starts at 6:00 See ya at the races!
