Wrap yourself in silence and allow the days to pass by, allow time to move until the heat of a new season comes down from the mountains and turns hardened ground into a fresh bed of life. Away to fold you hands and heart and mind now rested and ready for you to rise, and rise, and rise.

As we embark upon the holiday season I wish you the opportunity to pause and reset!

To stand still and witness yourself. To connect your mind, body, and spirit. To unclench your jaw and relax your shoulders. To move your body slowly, intentionally.

To breathe in calm, soothing stillness.
And to release tension and overthinking.
Guilt, fear, and shame.

To let go of stress, busy, rushing, and to-do lists.

To release expectations wrapped up as “traditions” when they no longer serve you.

To wrap your arms gently around yourself and to let their warmth consume you; like the comfort of a soothing warm bath, with a chill in the air.

To softly allow your lips to curve into a smile. Spreading slowly, across your beautiful face.
Raising your cheeks high, to the sky.

To express gratitude to yourself, for taking this moment to grant yourself the most precious gift.
