Victory Christian Center

The third day of archery camp was on target! Today we focused on shot ex*****on. Campers practiced executing a planned shot by playing archery Tic Tac Toe. They also took turns sending their group's coaches to the beach in a fun game where bullseyes earned beach items like towels, sunscreen, and sunglasses, but unsuccessful shots earned items like winter coats, gloves, and scarves.

Tomorrow we will learn about scoring, and archers will compete in a mini tournament. Parents are welcome to come watch. The tournament portion of camp will begin around 9:30am.

Wrapped up Pickleball Camp this week with a solid group of young athletes. We learned to serve, d**k, score and ended with our own round robin tournament.
Our verse for the week was 1 Corinthians 9:25: “Athletes compete for a prize that passes away. We compete for a prize that lasts forever.”
