Two Small Potatoes

Every time we see the Jordan Pond Gatehouse, it reminds me of the half-timber houses in Germany. It's gorgeous!

I'd love to see the inside, but unfortunately it's closed to the public. It's clearly visible if you're driving the Loop Road through the park or if you're biking or walking the Wildwood carriage road.

Today's the last day of the big sales at Ski Rack Sports in Bangor. It's definitely worth a visit if you're looking to buy a new kayak or canoe or scoop up paddling gear on sale.

When we arrived Friday evening, the boats were already flying out of the lot. We have enough kayaks (for now 🤣), but we scoped out the PFDs and got a great deal on a Seals pit cover for one of our rec boats. The staff were really helpful in looking up our older model boat to make sure we got the right size cover.

They also have the cutest, tiniest wet suit I've ever seen.

For avid cyclists, they have an impressive basement with tons of bikes of all shapes, sizes, and styles plus lots of gear.
