We have an independent Optometry office in Bensenville, and are looking for a receptionist who is fluent in English and Spanish. We are willing to train less-experienced individuals who have a great personality, an eagerness to learn and excel in the optical field, and a desire to grow with our practice.

We have an independent Optometry office in Bensenville, and are looking for an employee to assist in clerical, clinical, and optical sales aspects of the practice. Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish. The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated, independent worker who is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with great interpersonal skills, computer skills, and multi-tasking abilities. Experience in customer service and/or sales is preferred. Potential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Schedule patients and confirm appointments
Answer phone calls
Data entry
Filing patient charts/paperwork
Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility and benefits
Explain insurance benefits to patients
Collect payments from patients
Eyewear selection and sales
Eyewear dispensing
Frame adjustments and repairs
Contact lens training
Contact lens dispensing
Bill insurances (VSP, Eyemed, Davis Vision, Medicaid, Commerical insurances, etc)
Order glasses and contact lenses
Marketing
Inventory

If you have an ocular emergency (such as an eye injury, sudden loss of vision, or eye pain), please call 630-940-6629 and we can offer you a video or phone consultation at your request in some cases, or we can direct you to the nearest eye emergency facility.

During this time of social distancing and quarantine, we must all do our part by restricting activities outside the home except for getting necessary medical care.
