12 long years have passed and December 29th will forever be a dreadful day for the Western Rodeo family. The man that held the reins for decades went on to the good lord up above. It won’t ever be the same without the hollering in the back pens or on the back of the bucking chutes with the occasional contagious smile. Dan miss you and we’re thankful for the lessons that have been passed on, the amazing genetics that have passed down whether it be horses or bulls. We hope the grass is green and the bulls are mean up there. R.I.P. Big Dan Russell
