Our word for the month of February 2022 is the Virtue Freedom and the Saboteur is Obsessions.
🌸Spiritual freedom has to do with clarity in your mind.
🌸“I am free today to think whatever I want. I am a free person.”
🌸This practice of Freedom will allow you to love yourself and others more.
🌸When the heart is Free, it is completely generous and it works in coordination with a clean mind.
Do you clean your mind every day? Let us know how you practice mental Freedom in the comments below!💜
Namaste,
Welcome to our first virtual Mystic lesson. If you’d like, kindly follow along this post with the attached video.
Today I wanted to start a conversation about mysticism. The idea of mysticism is so large that we’ll have plenty to talk about for the months to come.
We are starting today with an introduction to the idea that our thoughts are living energies and those energies create our auras. Let’s start this idea off by pondering on the Sun being a living organism with consciousness. We do this by beginning to consider that we live and move within the aura of the Sun. Now I don't want you to accept what I’m saying as a true or false statement because it is important to ponder on it. This may be the first time you have ever considered this before.
All living beings have fire within them and they give off light and warmth. When we rub two stones together, they reveal the warmth hidden within them. If you rub two crystals together in a dark room, you will see sparks of light within them. Rocks, trees, humans, stars, the Earth, and our star the Sun all give off heat because we are all living beings who are shining within the living organism known as the Universe.
When we leave our bodies upon death, we are still living beings! We have shed our vehicle and continue to live within our light bodies. This is a very complex subject and we will return to it again and again over the next few months. I just wanted to introduce the idea to give you an opportunity to ponder on it.
Fire is important because how we think and feel creates energy. Energy creates heat, light and sound. The most obvious way to see this is when we become angry. When this happens, our skin heats up, our face turns red, and we are heated! We are burning our thoughts and emotions in such a way that our body is visibly affected.
Let’s consider this idea in a different way. When we light a candle, you can see the aura around the flame. The candle itself is our body. The quality of the flame represents our thoughts and emotions. The aura is the result of the inner burning and churning.
The clarity of the colors that are in our aura directly reflect the quality of our thoughts and emotions. We know that fire emanates light and color. The quality of these colors reveals both the temperature of the fire and what is being burned in that fire. This idea of fire is the same within all living beings.
If your aura is filled with white light and is large and clear, then you are living a very exalted life. You’d be a master and you wouldn't be participating with us in these lessons. Remember that we are all Saints in Training. If your aura has a lot of yellow in it and is a beautiful clear yellow, then you are probably a very intellectually developed optimist.
If your aura is dark and muddy, you are probably burning fuel that has been contaminated by anger and resentment. This does not mean you are right or wrong in your reactions. I am telling you this so you may ponder on it. Kindly google auras and read what others have to say about this.
Our auras are like the windshield of a car. We look through them and we project onto the world how our inner world is doing. Looking through a muddied windshield may give you the impression that the world around you is bad. This may leave you feeling victimized or even vengeful.
Kindly consider cleaning your windshield by cultivating some inner peace. Take a walk (properly, with social distancing please), read something deeply spiritual, pray, or meditate. It is not easy to turn to these medicines in times of inner turmoil, but when you are emotional you need you the most. Kindly show yourself some compassion and work on removing the mud from your windshield.
What are your thoughts about these ideas?
The word of the month for November is Wisdom and the saboteur is Intellectualism.
Wisdom is a combination of knowledge and experience. Knowledge without experience can lead to too much intellectualizing. When that happens, we may find ourselves overthinking to the point of procrastinating instead of experimenting.
Knowledge without experience can lead to a lot of false conclusions or judgements. Wisdom requires experience. When we get a little experience, we gain a little wisdom. How do we know that we have a little taste of wisdom? When we find ourselves being slightly more compassionate, when before we were merely judgmental.
