Two things : 1. Thanks for being patient on the denim Face Fader masks...LA production has been hit with all kinds of recent variables with everything going on and so it held us up. We’re gearing up to ship those ASAP. We love you guys and your support and grace there. 2. We were able to donate to a few organizations per our last post, mainly because of the support of all of you so THANK YOU. We don’t have any answers, we’re just doing our best to love our city, community, and everyone here in whatever small ways we can.

Big ups to the whole fam out there. We miss see you all on the block.

Major news coming....

We rarely do longwinded pieces here but it felt fitting today. This is Sam, the original LF founder, just shooting off the cuff on where we are at this week. When we opened in 2013 it was both exhilarating and exhausting, fun and fearful at the same time. Anyone who has had a small business knows how brutal it is, the sacrifices you make along the way, and all of the highs and lows that come with trying to blaze a trail on your own. I can honestly say we’ve had the best and most meaningful moments within the doors with so many amazing people, but we’ve also had huge setbacks and have been tempted to call it quits along the way as well (so many times). The reality is, we really, really love doing this and we really, really love menswear AND people. It’s a perfect fit and meeting, caring for, and serving everyone along the way has really propelled this thing forward because we really value those things, it’s not pretend for us. Thank you for everyone that has participated in that process with us in supporting LF in any way at all, we want to hug you all (really, we do). That’s all a longwinded way to say that this last couple of weeks has created new challenges for all of us as we face things we can’t control both in life and in business. What we can control is how we respond to our current situation and how we can choose to live generously and without a scarcity mindset. Our team has been committed to cultivating community and caring for people both in store and online since the beginning, and that feels more important than ever right now. This whole pandemic is a setback, it’s a real thing we aren’t downplaying, but it’s also not the end of the world. Let’s band up together and encourage our communities instead of hiding and hoarding (while listening to and abiding in the direction of our state and local authorities). It’s cold and rainy on the coast today but the sun is ‘bout to break out and we’re pretty pumped to see everyone today.
