Dear Encinitas Family,

Our Memorial Day cookout is tomorrow, right after the service. I hope you will all come. It is also a great time to bring a friend to church. Sit, visit, and love on your brothers and sister in Christ. Remembering is a definite Biblical call from God. That’s why God instituted so many holidays for the Israelites, so they would remember all He has done. Tomorrow, we will remember all of the fallen who gave everything for our country. The very freedom to go to church is a direct result.

When we spend time with one-another, we accomplish the verses below:

Philippians 2:1-2. “Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.”

Dear Encinitas Family,
Last week was a big one for Leigh Anne and me as our youngest son was married in North Carolina. You have met them. Benjamin and Lauren were with us for Sunday service several times as they were finishing up their senior year at CBU in Riverside. We are grateful to God, and for all of your prayers. The wedding went well and many more relatives flew in than we thought would come.

Pastor Jeremiah’s series “The Battle For Your Soul” has been very challenging and causing me to re-think things about spiritual battles. The Memorial Day cookout is coming THIS SUNDAY! We are planning a fellowship meal right after our service on Sunday, May 24th. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Dear Encinitas Family,

I want to echo what Pastor Jeremiah said, that this is a GREAT weekend to invite others to church. We are so grateful for our mothers!
