I met Victor Matook when he was 12 years old. He was the youngest brother of the Matook family, and my best friend was Laura Matook. Victor was about the most handsome guy you ever saw, loved Chicago, loved sports and basically and more importantly loved life. You could not help but love Victor...he would always joke, listen intently to what you had to say, and always, always positive. He loved his fierce sisters, his gentle mom, and of course his 12 year old son, Jordan.

We lost Victor last month but it was a battle well fought. He gave cancer a run for it's money, like Rocky Balboa in Rocky.
But he lived every minute to the fullest. He is missed, I'll tell you that.

So that his son Jordan could continue hockey for next season, the coach organized this fund me page for him. I thought I'd share it to all of you-any amount is appreciated for this little boy. If you can...that would be great---I know it is a rough time for everyone....so thank you regardless.
