As we wind down the last couple weeks of classes with review for finals and Regents tests, it is a great time to thank all of my students and parents for a fantastic school year filled with huge gains and progress!!! I’m saying goodbye to a graduating senior and a few students who have completed their math requirements. Always a bittersweet time of year!

Small group Zoom review tutoring sessions for Algebra 2

Regents Algebra 2 test date - Wednesday June 10th

This spring, I am offering 4 one hour review sessions to prepare for the Algebra 2 regents. The goal is to provide a small and more relaxed environment for students to ask the exact questions they need answered, and receive detailed solutions and explanations.

The cost is $160, which covers all 4 sessions. If you miss a session there are no refunds/reschedules.

The group will be 3 to 5 students. Each student may submit up to 3 problems, prior to each session, that they would like to see worked out, based on the designated content for each session. If time allows, there will be additional content provided.

Problems will include examples in the style of the regents exam, with some multiple choice and others free response.

Prepayment is required in order to secure a spot and receive the Zoom information.

All dates are Saturday from 1-2 pm.

5/9 - Factoring/solving quadratic polynomials, systems of equations, functions, imaginary/complex numbers

5/16- Writing quadratic equations, graphing quadratics, simplifying rational expressions, solving rational equations

5/30 - Polynomial functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions

6/6 - Sequences/series, Trig and unit circle, trig graphs
