Prepping your home for winter is key to avoiding unexpected hassles through the season and into Spring. Here is a short and sweet list to get you started.

Stop Drafts: Feel a chill near the windows or doors? A little weather stripping or caulk goes a long way.

Know Where Your Main Water Shutoff Is: If a pipe ever freezes or bursts, knowing where to shut off your water quickly can prevent a small issue from turning into a big mess.

Protect Pipes: Wrap or insulate any exposed pipes—especially in garages, crawl spaces, or along exterior walls.
