For Jake, greater independence begins at home.

Jake has Angelman syndrome, which affects his balance and mobility. Everyday features many of us take for granted, stepping into a shower, entering the yard, or moving safely between floors, once required significant assistance from his mother and caregiver.

With a zero-entry shower, grab bars, additional handrails, concrete steps, and an accessible ramp, Jake can now move through his daily routines with greater safety and independence. He especially enjoys walking outside to spend time in the yard with his neighbors and friends.

These modifications have also made daily caregiving safer and less physically demanding for Jake’s mother. Your support turns obstacles into open doors—creating homes where individuals and families can feel safe, connected, and empowered. Thank YOU.
