Yesterday we celebrated an exciting milestone at The Stables Phase 1 with our Topping Out Celebration! 🎉🏗️
Topping out marks the completion of a building's structural frame and is a chance to recognize the crews, trade partners, and project team who have helped get the project to this point.
Throughout the celebration, team members signed the wood topping-out beam before gathering for a jobsite BBQ hosted by Grovewood Community Development. A big thank you to the Grovewood team for organizing lunch and bringing everyone together to celebrate this milestone.
It's exciting to see this former horse boarding site taking shape. When complete, The Stables Phase 1 will provide 85 affordable homes for families in Aurora.
Thanks to everyone on the project for the hard work that's brought us to this point. We're excited to keep building and watch this community come together.

Big progress happening at The Stables Phase 1 in Aurora!
This latest video shows framing continuing to move quickly as this future affordable housing community starts to come into view. Once complete, the project will provide 85 homes for families in the Aurora area and transform the site into a place people will call home.
