For 33 years, the Dickson Insurance Agency has called Enumclaw home. We’ve seen floods, storms, bridges down, power outages, and hard seasons — and we’ve seen how strong this community is when we show up for each other.

🇺🇸 Honoring Veterans Day in Memory of My Grandpa, Don Munger 🇺🇸

Today we pause to honor all who have served — and I’d like to share the story of one local legend close to my heart: my Grandpa, Don Munger.

Don grew up right here in the Enumclaw area and went on to live an extraordinary life — from surviving the horrors of World War II to becoming one of the Northwest’s most respected horse trainers and breeders. His story is one of grit, faith, and love for his community. 🐴

Even after everything he endured overseas, he came home and poured his heart into training racehorses and helping others find purpose through hard work and perseverance.

I’m celebrating Veterans Day in his memory — and in honor of all who have sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy.
