Congratulations to our percussionist, Addie Elliott, as you graduate!

Plans after High School:

She plans to go to Tacoma Community College next year!

Leadership role:

She was our band council president, drum major, and percussion section leader!

Favorite memory:

“First Poulsbo parade as an 8th grader or when Hager was a fairy on a tree.”

Advice for younger musicians:

“Don’t stop even when people in band make it harder and make you want to quit.”

April is a slow month for us, but you’ll have a few opportunities to hangout with us to watch the kick butt or hear us play for a couple of home lacrosse matches at Pete’s Pool!

Plans after High School:

She plans to go to Pacific University to pursue music therapy next year!

Leadership role:

She was the social media coordinator and treasurer on the band council. As well, she was the flute and clarinet section leader.

“Any of the football or basketball games that the pep band played at.”

Advice for younger musicians:

“Listen to musicians that play the same instrument as you and think about what you like so much about their playing. Then work on your playing to be able to copy them to become the player that you want to be. Also, work on sight reading! It really improves your musicianship!”
