The election is over and although we did not win, I am proud of the campaign we ran. We focused on the issues that matter, and brought our message to people throughout the six counties in our district.

I would like to thank my hardworking staff. They put in long hours, working day and night and for that I am so grateful.

To the tremendous group of people from throughout the district and beyond who volunteered their time or pitched in financially to help our campaign, thank you for everything you did to help us.

To my family, and especially my wife, thank you for your support and encouragement throughout this campaign. I could not have done it without you.

It was truly a pleasure getting to meet people throughout Western Pennsylvania, and to listen to the challenges they face and their aspirations for a better future. It was an honor and privilege to earn the support and votes of so many of you.

I know we can make the district a better place if we work together in a positive and constructive way, and I look forward to continuing to fight for positive change.
