I live in my converted school bus. Unfortunately, due to financial struggles, I have to park it on side streets in Portland, OR, and move every other day or so. This results in many hardships with the local community, as well as code enforcement and Portland Police. Unfortunately, even though our bus is fully legal and in my name, they threaten to tow it every time we are visited and told to move. We cannot stay in one place for more than a day seemingly.

Yesterday, we were told we'd be towed in 24 hours by Portland Police.

This morning at about 7 a.m., I was awakened to the sound of the vacuum lines, fuel lines, coolant system, and electrical lines being mangled with an axe and my headlights being smashed out by three strangers in hoodies who were screaming about how we "broke into their camp" and "stole their bikes."

I was asleep all night.

Now, we are for sure going to be towed, and I have not a penny to my name and an inability to work due to the constant struggle of instability in having to worry about things like this.

I need your help to get parts, and to hopefully get my bus out of the tow yard, as it is my home. I will be on the streets with my dog till then, with no shelter whatsoever, and no resources.

It is cold, and I need help.

Hello all, I'm sorry for my extended absence. Life got complicated. I've used my hiatus to write more solo material and am now ready to perform again. However, I need some guidance. I'm no longer in touch with the local music scene, so I'd appreciate any suggestions for venues to book in 2025. Please share your insights. I'm ready to restart.

"Burn"

In shadows where light fades and whispers die, hope is lost in endless silence. Yet, I find a fleeting beacon, a dim and dying flame. Like a leech to blood, I hold its fading embers in my open hand, gazing with the eyes of a child into the burning glow, slowly swallowed by the consuming blackness around me. The flame whispers one last breath of smoke and dies.With tears of anger, I try desperately to breathe life back into the gray bits of coal, but they crumble into fine white dust in my palm, to no avail. Alone. Ash smears across my face as tears fall, but I gather myself and walk on. For I know that with freezing death comes burning life, and though the journey to the next flame may be dark and filled with fear, somewhere in the endless ocean of night, another beacon burns—another moment of wonder, another light to guide me, and another peaceful gaze into the eyes of God.
