From One Associate to Another

I had an encounter with the Lord in my daughter's bedroom on Sunday.

As I worshiped and sang songs and thought about the goodness of God, I began to cry. As tears streamed down my face, I thought about His faithfulness and guidance over the years, especially these past 5 years.

I thought about how life is doing a number, and God is with me no matter the circumstance.

I thought about challenges my family and I are facing, and the fact that God has never lost a battle!

I thought about times when I was afraid and how things worked out for my good.

I thought about being in transition and what's next for me, and the doors He has opened and are preparing me for.

I thought about how some things have changed, and how God has changed me in the things that remain the same.

It was a purity in the moment. Just me and God.

A stillness. A sacredness in the moment.

I experienced the love of God.

As I wept, I sensed a peace that I haven't had in a while.

Why am I sharing this?

To let you know that God is with you, wherever you are.

He can turn any place into a place of refuge.

He can turn your bedroom or any room into a sanctuary.

You can have encounter with Jesus anywhere!

You do not have to be at your best to get the best of God!

I'm sharing this to let you know that when you feel far from God, He is so near to you.

God is true to His Word when He says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
