Celebrated Chateauneuf, laudable Lagrein, classic Cahors... With the 2019 vintage, Domaine de la Charbonnieres continues their meteoric rise to elite status as a producer of Chateuneuf du Pape, the king of southern French red wines. While maybe not as well known, the Lagrein from Trentino super producer Muri Gries is just about as good as this rare northern....
