Another Mesa Para Doce is officially in the books, and what a night it was!

A huge thank you to Chapala Mexican Restaurant at Oakway for welcoming us to the table for an evening filled with delicious food, laughter, honest stories, and the kind of conversations that turn strangers into new friends.

Our question for the evening was:

✨ Recognize the unique value you bring
✨ Be confident in your story and experiences
✨ Keep going through the ups and downs
✨ Stay open to the people who enter your life

We also welcomed Carissa from the American Red Cross, who shared the urgent need for blood donations in our community. Latino donors may be especially likely to have O-positive or O-negative blood types, which are critically important during emergencies.

🤝 She built partnerships with schools and community organizations.
💰 She secured hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding.
🚀 And now she's scaling her impact through the Stress Reset App and workforce-readiness training programs.

As the Founder & CEO of WiseMind Educational Services, Jenifer is on a mission to make evidence-informed resilience tools accessible to every student in Oregon, and eventually, young people everywhere.

The numbers speak for themselves:

✨ 400+ educators trained
✨ Programs spanning K-12, early childhood, workforce readiness, and beyond.

But what inspires us most isn't the growth.

It's that WiseMind started with one educator asking:
