Connected Lane County

Our recent Sewing with Spark event was a total blast! 🪡🧵 We spent three days watching these amazing makers learn, create, test, and enjoy community with others!

They learned how to use and troubleshoot sewing machines, practice hand-sewing techniques, and designed their own project with guidance from our staff and peer mentors.

One of our participants shared “I noticed that I am more patient with myself, especially when things don’t go the way I planned. It changed how I see myself as a creator, because now I feel like I can take on more challenging projects and finish them.” 🙌🏼

We’re so proud of this group and how they learned to challenge themselves with new techniques and explore the world of sewing!
