Osaga is officially back. Born in Eugene, Oregon, TrackTown USA, Osaga was one of the most innovative running brands of the 1970s, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the giants by focusing on biomechanics, comfort, and real performance. Founded by Eugene legend Bill Combs, Osaga helped shape the running culture around Hayward Field and even donated the cutting-edge electronic scoreboard that became a symbol of the city’s track heritage.

Today, the family is reviving the brand with two historically faithful reissues: the Osaga 80 (originally the Moscow 80) and the KT-26. These aren’t quick throwback remakes - they’re rebuilt using the original design philosophy, with upgraded materials for modern comfort.

The Osaga 80 (“Evergreen”) stays true to its 1979 Runner’s World-praised cushioning, now featuring premium suede/leather/mesh, Aegis® comfort lining, a molded PU footbed, and that classic 70s running-flat silhouette.

The KT-26, famous for its experimental Cantilever Principle, returns with re-engineered shock dispersion, a rigid heel counter, breathable nylon/mesh upper, and durable multi-stud outsole. A true ahead-of-its-time design is now wearable again.
