Bike Fridays are built to be ridden.

Another set of photos came through from Dedrick on his Pocket Rocket Pro, this time from Chapman's Peak Drive in Cape Town, South Africa. When you combine the convenience of a folding bike with the feeling you get from a performance one, the reasons to ride add up and the reasons not to fall away.

A lot of bikes get bought, enjoyed for a while, then quietly set aside once the novelty wears off or attention moves to a different rig. But something we hear again and again from our riders is the opposite: they bought the bike for travel, and before long it had become their everyday favorite for that very reason.

A tandem and a light aircraft... now there's an unusual travel combination. But that's exactly what makes a Bike Friday so special. Fold it down small enough and even a tandem becomes a surprisingly convenient way to get around, whatever your mode of transport.

Long-time customer Carol shared these great photos of her Bike Friday tandem loaded into a plane, ready to be assembled on the tarmac at the other end. Thanks for sharing, Carol!
