Stop 4: Cottage Grove 🌉🍻🌹

Cottage Grove feels like a classic small American town, with a charming Main Street that looks straight out of a movie set. It’s actually been a filming destination since the 1920’s when Buster Keaton’s ‘The General’ was shot there.

The town is rich in history, featuring landmarks like the Cottage Grove Depot and the Owen Rose Garden. It’s best known, though, for its six historic bridges, which you can explore along the 6-mile Covered Bridge Scenic Bikeway.

After a day of exploring, you can grab a meal at Jack Sprats Restaurant, known for its comforting dishes and great vegetarian options, or head to Coast Fork Brewing to kick back with a locally crafted beer.

If you time your visit right - like during Bohemia Mining Days in July or the Covered Bridge Festival in August - you’ll get an even better feel for why this town is a favorite among locals year after year!
