SPD is a full-service, NCTRCA, M/WBE & HUB Certified commercial paint and drywall contractor providing services for both new construction, renovations, and maintenance work from bid to completion since 1974.



Job Responsibilities

· Estimate commercial paint jobs of varying sizes

· Cultivate relationships with clients



Skills and Knowledge Required:



· 1 year or more experience in commercial construction estimating preferred

· Minimum of 2 years of consistent blueprint reading required

· Able to review and accurately perform takeoffs (Includes: material, labor, equipment)

· Perform onsite walk thru for upcoming bids

· Compile and articulate scope in written proposals to customers

· Proficient in Excel, Word, Email, Google Calendar, and Google Apps

· Reliable team player capable of working effectively with the team

· Strong organizational skills

· Able to work under pressure to meet hard bid deadlines
