"My husband and I just returned from an amazing trip to Colorado and New Mexico. We fell in love with the people of the Taos Pueblo...The Red Willow Tribe. I found a simple, stone-head tomahawk that I bought for my husband. He loved it. I put it in my carry-on luggage along with several other hand-made items to ensure their safety. The TSA confiscated the tomahawk, even though the head was merely a rock and not one that was sharp or carved into a hatchet-type shape. I am now trying to find a replacement....it won't be the same as buying from the man who shared history with us, but I feel so bad for my husband's disappointment. The amazing thing is, we were asked for less than $20 for this Tomahawk. It was simple....no beadwork or anything like that. Any ideas as to where I might find something similar to give to my husband? I appreciate any input so very much."

Update for Wadesboro Armed Forces Pow Wow. We are having to move the date to a later one this year around the fall season. Right now we are running into brick walls. About getting a place to hold it. The original area has been deemed unfit for any kind of an event, due to safety issues. I will keep everyone up to date on what is going on. Thank you, each one for your understanding of the situation. We are looking at an area where our ancestors made some of their winter camps
