I hope you'll join us for the next Visible Voices event "Visible Voices: A Brief History of Asian American Racialization" a free virtual presentation on May 1st at 7pm!

This is one of the best presentations I've seen that gives some background on the evolution of Asian American racism in the US. Ayo Magwood does an incredible job of synthesizing historical information, making it accessible and relatable. It's a fascinating look into a history that has been ignored for far too long and is still not taught in schools across the country. I've had so many Asian American friends say that they couldn't believe how much they didn't know about our own history, and it is an incredible opportunity for anyone who teaches, or is interested in learning about Asian American history, US history, and another perspective of systemic racism.

This is a great Asian American Heritage Month (MAY) activity for the workplace!
