What’s been added to your life didn’t weaken you it gave you a song. Tuesdays @woodlandscelebration are so special in Women’s Bible Study. This week, we studied Leah’s story in Genesis 29 how God meets us in our hurt, in the disappointments we didn’t see coming. Life sometimes adds things we never asked for… and they feel heavy. A drinking glass and a crystal glass start the same—but along the way, something is added to the crystal. Not to weaken it but to make it more responsive, more sensitive, more capable of being shaped. Some of you know exactly what that feels like. The unexpected additions: a diagnosis, a detour, a responsibility you didn’t plan for. And maybe you’ve wondered if it made you less. But what if it didn’t? What if it made you able to carry something others can’t? Crystal can do something ordinary glass cannot it can sing. Because it responds to what’s around it. It resonates. And so do you. There is a sound of worship, a depth, a testimony that can only come from a life like yours. “He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God…” — Psalm 40:3 You are not weaker.
