Right now, libraries are paying significantly higher prices than consumers for eBooks and digital audiobooks — using taxpayer dollars. These publisher pricing models lead to longer wait times and fewer available titles for readers.

HB5236, the Digital Library Protection Act, would help protect libraries from unfair pricing and restrictions, allowing libraries to purchase more of the materials you want with shorter waits and better access for everyone.

Please take a minute to contact your elected officials and urge them to support this legislation. Hearing directly from constituents and library supporters makes a real difference!
