Keith’s life changed forever when he was just 19 years old.
After a devastating accident, he lost the use of his right side and now uses a wheelchair.
At the time, he faced an uncertain future.
In this video, Keith shares how he found independence at Over The Rainbow.
Today, small supports can make a big difference in daily independence, including something as simple as opening the door to his home.

Hear Keith’s story.

Meet Michael. In October 2008, a single accident changed his life forever, leaving him without his legs.

Everyone who meets Mike loves him; his smile and laugh are contagious. Mike used to play in the NBA, and his love for basketball never left.

An accident took away the use of his legs in an instant, but it didn’t take his passion or his spirit. With the help of DANIEL IVANKOVICH MD, Mike regained his strength and the ability to live independently to get to Over The Rainbow.

Getting him to games brings joy and a sense of normalcy back into his life. With your donations, we can continue giving him experiences like these.

$150 gives one resident experiences like attending a game with accessible transportation.

Today, on , we invite you to read his story on our blog and consider helping more residents like Mike find a place they can truly call home.
