Our team at Synapse wishes you a safe and healthy holiday season. As we head into 2026, we’d like to share a few important updates:

✨ Physical Therapy (PT): Pediatric Physical Therapy services will be launching in January- more details coming soon.
✨ New Insurance Coverage: Beginning in January, Syapse will be in-network with United HealthCare. Please help us spread the word.
✨ Insurance Updates: As we close out 2025 and welcome 2026, please notify us promptly of any insurance changes.

🫧 Welcome Karolina, Our Newest SLP

Please join us in welcoming Karolina, who started with us in October and has been seeing clients in the afternoons.

Karolina is passionate about helping children find joy in communication and making therapy a place they look forward to. She believes that building strong relationships is at the heart of growth, which is why she takes time to understand each child and incorporate their unique interests into sessions. One of her favorite reminders for families is to “model without expectations,” encouraging them to celebrate small steps along the way.

She also holds onto a quote she first heard in graduate school: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” -Lao Tzu

If you are looking for a way to get out of the house and beat the heat with your small human(s), may we recommend Synapse's FREE drop-in play group? We kick off this Monday June 30th at 10am. No registration required.

🌟 Good news for last-minute planners! We’ve extended registration for two of our favorite summer groups that start next week:

🎨 Craft Crew (ages 6–7 · Thu 3-4 PM)
• Tie-dye, slime, friendship bracelets—each week is a new hands-on project.
• Led by Jenny, an experienced OT, so every activity builds fine-motor and social-emotional skills while kids have a blast creating with friends.

🎈 Preschool Connect (ages 3–4 · Tue 1–2 PM)
• Cooperative games, pretend-play adventures, and plenty of giggles
• Led by Natalie, a pediatric SLP, whose calm, joyful energy- and musical-theatre flair- fill each session with connection and creativity, guiding children toward clear, confident communication while they make new friends through cooperative play.

We still have a few seats open and would love to fill them with kids who are ready to create, imagine, and connect. Groups kick off NEXT WEEK and meet once a week through early August.
