Connections for the Homeless

🏗️ A major step forward for affordable housing in Lake County!

Last week, community leaders gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking of Liberty Point Residences in Gurnee—a 40-unit affordable housing development that will provide one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes for individuals and families earning 30–80% of the Lake County Area Median Income.

This project is the result of strong community advocacy, and we're proud that Connections and our Gurnee chapter helped organize support for this development last fall. We were honored to be recognized during the groundbreaking for our role in helping move this project forward.

With construction expected to be completed in about 12 months, Liberty Point will create more opportunities for people to access safe, stable, and affordable housing.
