Life with Butters

1st day of senior year! He's most excited to meet the new freshman on the baseball team and taking intro to law. He only has one modified class this year which is amazing.

High school. It used to seem so far away but now as a junior he's at the best place for him. In his IEP there was so much progress since last year that I wanted to cry.

Now this. His class ring. Only a year and a half before he walks across the stage to graduate.

Last week in his 1st high school IEP meeting i got to talk to the administration about him getting involved with sports. After some back and forth today is the 1st game he gets to help the baseball team as an assistant manager

He insists on shaving his own head but still needs some help cleaning out up. Luckily his sister is always willing to help. For reference he is now 5'8" tall and she is 5'4". They drive each other crazy but I know for a fact that his sister would do anything to help him.

No more denying it. 9th grade/ high school is about to start. Spent about an hour learning how to navigate between 4 buildings and met the assistant principal in charge of special education and athletics. He is going to help Alvin get integrated into a couple of the sports teams by going to games and doing statics for the teams. Very scary and overwhelming bit he's pretty excited for high school.
