Brace yourselves — a storm is brewing in the realm of roller derby. After home teams Tough Love and F.L.A.S.H. battle it out in the first half of the night, witness team Mordor face off against Middle Earth in a bout so intense, it might just melt the One Ring – in the legendary Lord of the Rinks Fundraiser Bout! 🧙‍♂️🧝⛰️

🪓 Expect blocks sturdier than Gimli
👀 Smeagol-level sneak attacks.
🏹 And jammers flying faster than Legolas can loose an arrow.

The Bellingham Roller Betties start Season 17 with a pre-season Double Header on Saturday, February 8th at 5:30 PM at Lynden Skateway (421 Judson St., Lynden, WA 98264). Doors open at 5:00 PM to give you time to grab merch, buy concessions, and find your seat.

We will kick off the evening with the annual Red Riot vs. Black Death roller derby bout featuring the Bellingham Roller Betties’ first years. Skaters in this bout completed B***y Camp last fall and have been training hard to prepare for their first public game. The rosters will be completed with some of the BRBs veteran skaters and coached by seasoned veterans who’ve been training the new skaters since b***y camp.

Immediately following, the Bellingham Roller Betties All-Stars will battle it out against Terminal City Roller Derby out of Vancouver, BC. The BRB All Star team is made up of the most experienced skaters in the league. Skaters try out for a spot on the all star roster several times a year and represent the Bellingham Roller Betties in national and international games and tournaments throughout the year.

The Bellingham Roller Betties have a Merchandise Booth and Beer & Wine Garden along with the Lynden Skateway’s regular concessions. There are both 21+ and Family Seating options in the stands.
Once again, doors open at 5:00 PM and the first bout starts at 5:30 PM.

Tickets for this event:
ADVANCED: $20 for adults (16+), $9 for kids ages 8-15, and free for kids 7 and under. AT THE DOOR: Expect prices to raise $5+ per ticket.

Who’s ready for another season of blood-pumping roller derby action?! Good news—we’re so close to Tilted Thunder and Strawberry City's season opener! This bout is a co-hosted double-header with the
Smashers playing the first game of the night against the Cog Blockers. The second game of the night will be Tilted Thunder’s Thunder Catz vs Alter Egos.

Game 1 - Doors at 4pm, first whistle at 5pm.

They'll have a beer garden, concessions, and merch!
