I came across this picture on the Israel -land of milk and honey page this morning. Two weeks ago our sermon was about our being completely dependent on Jesus (the true vine - Jn. 15:1-8). Only in abiding in Jesus Christ the true vine can we, the branches, bear abundant fruit in our lives. Well, may this picture be a visual prompt of the abundant life and fruit that God- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit- purpose to produce in our lives! Trust that His pruning, care and attention will result His producing abundant fruit in you and through you! He is just that good and His love for you is without limits!

This Sunday is we celebrate Pentecost! It is the coming of the Holy Spirit, the birth of the Church, the fulfillment of prophecy and the power of the church for holy living, transformation, and holy service of the Lord! How can we not celebrate? Come and let us worship the Lord together!

I love and revel in the grace and mercy of God in Jesus Christ! How often we need to hear and be reminded that if we just look to Jesus and confess our sin to him he forgives, he renews and he draws us close! He is so good to me…
