What is Demon Monkey Craft?

I love to cross stitch! I am not a traditional stitcher though; I specialize in horror themes, B-movies, snarky quotes and original material. I also do some home decor items and whatever miscellaneous that tickles my fancy. I LOVE the Evil Dead franchise which is why I started my first book of patterns with Evil Dead 2. Who knows what the next book will be about?

I’ve also done some art pieces that have appeared in galleries. I really enjoy using vintage motifs to convey or address modern themes. Doing bigger pieces is really rewarding to me too. I enjoy putting a lot of time into my artwork and using a lot of colors.

So what is with the name Demon Monkey Craft? Well, I almost exclusively use DMC floss for my work. And one day I was trying to come up with a new name for my company. While driving around I thought, what can I make out of the letters “DMC,” since I use that floss ALLLL THE TIME? And that is how Demon Monkey Craft was born.
