About Us

The Protection Bureau is one of the largest Security System Integrators in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Since 1975, The Protection Bureau has been rated among SDM Magazine’s “Top 100 System Integrators.” Our services start with a free consultation and risk/threat analysis, moves into planning, design, system engineering, value analysis, development of integration, and installation, and continues with quality service after the sale.

Our company, founded in 1975, is led by the second generation of the Ladd family. Headquartered in Exton, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia, and have a branch office (sales, installation and service) in South Plainfield, NJ and Richmond, VA. From these bases, we are able to service the entire Mid-Atlantic Region (PA, NJ, VA, DE, MD, NY). Utilizing our business partners in "Security-Net" and PSA, we are pleased to expand our coverage nationwide.

We take special pride in being a UL Listed fire alarm installation company and the fact that we operate our own Central Monitoring Station at our headquarters. We believe the security of our clients is too important to farm out or sub-contract to others. When you call us at 2 a.m., you will be greeted by a full time company employee, dedicated to serving you as one of our most important customers.
