We love hearing updates from our scholarship recipients and their families! A proud parent recently shared how their child, one of our past scholarship winners, is thriving, pursuing their passions, achieving new milestones, and continuing to make a positive impact. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do!

Update:
Emily Swackhamer is in her second year at Coastal Carolina University. Emily is majoring in Sustainability and Coastal Resilience with minors in Marine Science and Tourism, Resort, and Hospitality Management. Emily spends the majority of her free time being a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. She enjoys participating in various Sigma Kappa philanthropic events that raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association. When Emily is home on breaks she continues to work at both Rita's Water Ice in Eagleview and the Great Valley Pet Hotel as a doggie daycare attendant.
Emily and her family are eternally grateful for this scholarship. It has helped her achieve so many of her academic goals!
