In 1977 on the heels of the Bicentennial celebration, a group of civic-minded leaders came together to plan a Fourth of July event to support local First Responders that would grow into what we now know as Good Neighbor Day. Among those original well intentioned leaders was Gail McCahon. Many of today’s traditions—including the 5K Run, the Canoe Race, and the beloved Big Wheel Race for kids—can be traced back to that very first celebration. 🎊

For 47 years, Colebrook Manor has proudly sponsored the Big Wheel Race in honor of our great community, our committed First Responders and the enduring spirit of our nation. From our family to yours, Happy Fourth of July. 🇺🇸
