Welcome, tributes, to the 2026 Malvern Public Library Teen Summer Reading Challenge! Compete alongside your peers by reading books and representing your district team (organized by rising grade level) as you travel the path towards victory! To reward your endeavors along the way, the Malvern Public Library will host special events, drop weekly themes, and give out special prizes throughout the challenge.

Henrietta Hankin Branch Library's Bell is inspired by Stardew Valley, which is a video game where you help people in the community and run your own farm. This tied in with the Agricultural Bounty theme and inspired the design which shows a community's bountiful harvest that connects people intergenerationally.

Join Avon Grove Library this June for two exciting gardening programs! Master Gardeners will help your gardening knowledge grow with their expert guidance and tips.

On Saturday, June 6th from 10:30AM-12PM, don't miss "Ask a Master Gardener," which includes an information table, crafts for children, and free marigold seeds.

Attend our "Houseplants are Having a Moment" program on Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30PM to learn everything that you need to know about houseplants. No registration is required!

Calling all young artists! Students in elementary through high school will have a chance to show off their art in June and July at the Downingtown Library's Summer Art Show.

Visit Downingtown Library's website to register with your age group and get more information on piece size, dropping off your art, and the art show opening!

🦕Unearth a Story!

Our Summer Reading Program this year encourages children to read for pleasure all summer long, earning medals and power patches for their hard work. The program runs from June through August and is open to children of all ages.

Adult patrons can also enjoy summer reading activities - check with your local library for details on their specific program!
