"When I started my medical courier business, I thought I was just delivering packages.
Then I realized I was handling protected patient information — and that means HIPAA applies to me too.
One mistake could cost contracts, fines, or my entire business.
That’s why I completed the HIPAA Training for Medical Couriers and Bloodborne Pathogens Training through HIPAA Certify.
If you’re serious about building your courier business the right way, don’t wait until something goes wrong."

I've watched The Good Nurse three times — not because I enjoy true crime, but because every time I catch another compliance failure that most viewers completely miss.
Here's what the film doesn't spell out:
Hospitals claimed "privacy laws" prevented them from reporting Charles Cullen. That's not what HIPAA says. Not even close.
HIPAA explicitly permits disclosures to law enforcement, health oversight agencies, and to prevent serious threats to safety. The legal framework to stop him was there the entire time.
So why didn't they act? Because their lawyers told them not to. Not because of HIPAA — because of liability.
I broke the whole case down from a compliance perspective. If you work in healthcare, this is worth 10 minutes of your time.
